The History of Big West Power Sports
When Jim and Connie bought Big West Power Sports and Equipment in March, 2001 it was a relatively small power sports / power equipment store with exceptional brands and “lots of potential.” Jim could see the possibilities… and it didn’t hurt that he was already a snowmobile enthusiast, and tractor work was his version of therapy. When Jim and Connie purchased the store it was their dream to improve the store by expanding the service department, streamlining sales processes, and stocking more units, parts, and accessories. Fast Forward to 2007: Big West Power Sports and Equipment is full line Bombardier (Skidoo, Seadoo, and CanAm), John Deere (consumer and commercial equipment), Mustang, Stihl (chainsaws, trimmers, etc.) and Scag dealer. Over the past six years the “dream” has evolved into a modern retail establishment, repeatedly earning recognition from their manufacturers for outstanding sales and service. And, although Jim and Connie are very proud of increasing sales and receiving awards, it’s the relationships with their customers and employees that make them most proud.
